Earth inhabits many species of flora and fauna. The existence of these infinite and vastly different species depends on their varied geographical natural, environmental and geological environment and space. The study of this distribution based on geological time and geographical space is called biogeography. It has two main branches namely, zoogeography and phytogeography. It also focuses on biodiversity hotspot, main directions and tasks of pure and applied biogeography, microbial biodiversity and transition zones.

Frankie Kimble received his M.S. degree in Biology, Ecology & Evolution Concentration from State Public University. Montclair. He is a guest lecturer and teaches courses on biogeography. He has travelled and lectured extensively throughout Europe and United States; primarily for higher education. Kimble holds prominent memberships of ecological and environmental associations and has been an active participant at international conferences and forums. He has also published numerous article and book chapters in the field of climate change, global warming and weather patterns.
